Neil Hymers has presented the DC Cup with a new trophy to be used for a new award in 2005.

Inscribed, "Conidaris Cup Best come back award In loving memory of Dawie from his mates down under"
 

• The award was given to Jason O'Connell in 2005 for his 6/6 score.

• In 2006 the award was given to the entire Gud Gize team for their remarkable comeback after claiming 12 points out of the last 2 games.

• Louis Barclay won it in 1007 years best comeback award for being significantly down in three games and coming back to win all three.

• In 2008 the award was given to the entire Bokkoms team for their remarkable comeback after coming back from a 4 point deficit.
